About the role
Salary Range:$32.00 To $36.00 Hourly + Per Diem $125/ per days worked.
Currently hiring for Sheet Metal Mechanics for a commercial project in Portland, ME. As a Sheet Metal Mechanic you are responsible for installing and hanging commercial duct at heights up to 35 feet. Pay is $32- $36 per hour based on experience and skillset. If you have 5+ years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic apply now!
Sheet Metal Mechanics Description:
- Install, assemble, and secure commercial duct systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
- Measure, cut, and fit duct components to project specifications
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and support of ductwork
- Maintain compliance with all jobsite safety requirements
- Work effectively with project supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules
Sheet Metal Mechanics Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in commercial or residential setting and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
- Able to read blueprints
- Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Your OWN reliable transportation
- OSHA10 required
