Is this job real? Check it for reposts
Paste a job link from a company's careers site. We'll tell you when it was first posted, how many times it was reposted, whether it's still up, and what that usually means.
Works with links from employers' own careers pages (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, iCIMS and 30 more). We never visit the link for you; we only look it up in what we've already read.
How the check works
- We read thousands of company career sites every few minutes and keep every posting we've seen, open or closed.
- A repost is the same requisition (the employer's own ID for the opening) put up again at least two weeks after it went up before. Only Workday and Greenhouse sites give us that ID, so for every other careers site repost history isn't tracked, and the check says so.
- For every job we also show how long it has been open, whether it is still on the company's own site, how many open postings there have exactly the same title, and how much the site has been posting lately.
- The result is a signal level (strong, some or low) with what it usually means and what we can't know. Postings can't tell us whether someone is being hired right now, so we never call a job fake.
