7–10 years of progressive public accounting experience, including meaningful time in a lead role.
-
Multifaceted experience supporting clients across tax questions and compliance, assurance, accounting, and advisory engagements.
-
Strong technical knowledge of business and individual taxation, including partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations.
-
Proven ability to review the work of others, provide constructive feedback, and coach staff to grow their technical skills.
-
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to explain complex tax and financial matters in clear terms.
-
Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines, particularly during peak tax season.
-
Proficiency with professional tax and accounting software and Microsoft Excel; comfort adopting new technology.

-
Salary range of $150,000–$200,000
-
Fully in office, Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility outside of tax season
-
Group health insurance
-
Dental insurance fully covered by the company and employer-paid life insurance
-
3 weeks of PTO, increasing with length of service
-
10 paid holidays
-
SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with company match
-
No audit work: our practice focuses on tax, review/compilation and advisory services
-
Clear growth opportunity as we build the next generation of CPA leaders
-
A variety of projects and the opportunity to work with a wide range of business clients
Responsibilities:
-
Serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of business clients, answering tax and accounting questions and delivering proactive guidance throughout the year.
-
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants, setting priorities and supporting their professional growth.
-
Review and oversee staff work, including tax returns, and assurance engagements for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
-
Prepare and review complex business and individual tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.
