Fire Watch Laborer

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Fire Watch / General Laborers to support construction and industrial projects. This role is responsible for monitoring work activities, maintaining a safe work environment, and assisting with general labor duties as needed.

Pay and Schedule:

Pay: $23 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Prior construction, industrial, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and site-specific requirements.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor welding, cutting, grinding, and other hot work operations.
• Identify and report fire hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain fire watch logs and documentation as required.
• Ensure fire extinguishers and safety equipment are readily available and operational.
• Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and other general labor tasks.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements.
• Support project teams as directed by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and perform general labor activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Previous Fire Watch experience on commercial, industrial, or government projects.
• Experience working around welding and fabrication operations.
