About the role
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Sky Lakes Medical Center | Klamath Falls, Oregon
$400k–$450k (1099) / $360k–$410k (W-2) | 8-13 Weeks Off | Full Autonomy & Regional Focus
If you became a CRNA to practice at the absolute top of your license without the corporate red tape or rigid supervisory models of large health systems, your next career chapter is right here.
Sky Lakes Medical Center is seeking a skilled, confident full-time CRNA to join our collaborative, high-functioning anesthesia team in Southern Oregon. Practicing in a true collegial care model where your clinical judgment is respected every day, you’ll step into a high-earning, highly sustainable schedule with up to 13 weeks away to explore the Pacific Northwest.
The Opportunity: Independent Practice with Genuine Group Backup
Experience the best of both worlds: complete procedural autonomy paired with the dependable, collegial support of an established MD/CRNA team.
-
True Top-of-License Practice: Practice broad-spectrum general and regional anesthesia with clinical independence. CRNAs take primary first call while physician partners provide reliable backup.
-
Predictable "39 On / 13 Off" Lifestyle Model: Structure your year around 39 weeks on and 13 weeks off for maximum career longevity and travel.
-
Manageable 1:5 Call Rotation: Equitable call distribution (CRNA on first call; MD on backup). Weekend call alternates first/second call and is always followed by Monday off.
-
What a Standard Week Looks Like:
-
Monday: Scheduled cases (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
-
Tuesday (Call Day): Scheduled cases or float backup; pager call after 5:00 PM
-
Wednesday: OFF (Post-Call day to recharge)
-
Thursday: Scheduled cases (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
-
Friday: Scheduled cases (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
-
-
Diverse Case Mix: Broad, engaging clinical exposure across General Surgery, Orthopedics, GYN, ENT, Podiatry, Urology, Spine, Vascular, Level III Trauma, Healthy Pediatrics, and a strong emphasis on ultrasound-guided Regional Anesthesia.
-
Modern Facilities: Split your clinical days between the main hospital surgical suites and our contemporary Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) right across the street.
