About the role
Type: Full-Time
Location: Carson, California
Responsibilities
- Customs Billing
- Issue invoices for completed customs clearance entries, including customs brokerage fees, ISF filing fees, and additional charges such as PGA/TSCA filing fees
- Verify billing amounts against customer-specific contracted rates and applicable tariff schedules
- Ensure all additional charges, including examination, storage, bond, and courier fees, are captured and billed
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Verify customer payments and match receipts to outstanding invoices
- Reconcile partial payments and small outstanding balances, and prepare aging reports for overdue receivables
- Follow up on overdue payments and coordinate with customers’ accounting and finance teams
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Review invoices from service providers, including transportation companies, bonded warehouses, and bonded carriers, and process payments
- Ensure expenses paid on behalf of customers are properly rebilled as pass-through charges
- Month-End Closing and Reporting
- Report the business unit’s revenue, costs, and accounts receivable balances
Qualifications
- A background in accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English
The base salary range for this role is between $55,000–$65,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
