The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing
health promotion and disease prevention. This includes the assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and
chronic diseases. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Job Description:
Provides specialized longitudinal care for patients with pulmonary hypertension and CTEPH, including diagnostic evaluation, management and monitoring of PH-directed therapies, patient education, and multidisciplinary care coordination. The position is currently clinic-based but is designed to evolve with program growth to support an admitting inpatient PH/CTEPH service. The APP will provide continuity across ambulatory and inpatient settings while supporting expansion of the CTEPH program, development of standardized clinical pathways, and management of an increasingly complex pulmonary vascular patient population.
