Steele Auto Group - Bridgewater is looking for an Accounting Clerk who does more than balance the books. You will keep our dealerships moving, our teams supported, and our customers confident behind the scenes. In this role, you will contribute across core financial processes including transaction posting, account reconciliations, vehicle deal processing, and month-end reporting, working closely with operational teams and leadership to ensure financial information is timely, accurate, and aligned with dealership activity.

Compensation:

• $40,000 - $52,000 annually, based on knowledge, skills and experience
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
  

How you will make an impact:

• Scheduling, posting, and reconciling transactions across multiple accounting systems
• Preparing daily and month-end financial reporting
• Supporting interdepartmental processes and maintaining strong working relationships
• Assisting with inventory tracking, account analysis, and quality control measures
• Posting and reporting vehicle deals accurately and efficiently
• Managing accounts receivable and balancing general ledger accounts
• Completing daily cash reporting and supporting accounts payable functions
• Providing ongoing support to the Controller and accounting team, including month-end close

What drives your success:

• You have post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
• You have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a high-volume environment
• Automotive or dealership accounting experience is considered a strong asset
• You have strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• You have experience with computerized accounting systems and general ledger reconciliation
• You have a team-first mindset with the ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
