Job Description

The Role

A senior preparer position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services for complex portfolios. This role handles a full spectrum of complexity levels (low, medium, and high) with minimal supervision, focusing on sophisticated accounting processes and detailed client deliverables. The position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead preparation of complex financial reports while maintaining high quality standards. 

What You'll Do

• You'll execute complex fund accounting activities, including capital calls, distributions, investor notices, and bookkeeping for complex transactions.
• You'll prepare periodic financial reports for complex clients while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with accounting standards.
• You'll document accounting procedures, conduct self-reviews, and maintain high-quality deliverables across all assigned work.
• You'll identify and report potential operational risks, contribute to process improvements, and support continuous enhancement initiatives.
• You'll participate in training and knowledge-sharing programs, track work progress through timesheets, and perform additional duties to support business needs.

Qualifications

About You

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or have completed ACCA Level 2 or ACA, with at least 4 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in fund accounting.
• You demonstrate expertise in preparing complex financial statements and applying accounting standards, policies, and procedures with minimal supervision.
• You possess strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, combined with exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
• You have excellent organizational, multitasking, communication, and documentation skills, enabling you to manage complex workloads and clearly articulate processes and operational risks.
• You are a proactive, results-driven, and adaptable professional who works independently, collaborates effectively with team members, supports knowledge-sharing initiatives, and maintains high standards of professionalism and quality.
