Job Description

The Role

A senior preparer position responsible for delivering comprehensive corporate accounting services for complex client portfolios. This role handles a full spectrum of complexity levels (low, medium, and high) with minimal supervision, focusing on sophisticated accounting processes and detailed client deliverables. The position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead preparation of complex financial reports while maintaining high quality standards. 

What You'll Do

• You'll manage assigned mailboxes, post journal entries, and perform bookkeeping and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• You'll prepare working schedules, working papers, periodic accounts, and financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
• You'll compute tax and VAT obligations, monitor regulatory filing deadlines, and ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements.
• You'll liaise directly with auditors, address accounting queries independently, resolve review comments promptly, and escalate issues where necessary.
• You'll conduct thorough self-reviews, complete required checklists, maintain quality standards, and provide support to team members and broader business needs.

Qualifications

About You

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or have completed ACCA Level 2 or ACA, with at least 4 years of experience in Corporate Accounting.
• You demonstrate advanced expertise in accounting standards, financial reporting, and the preparation of detailed working papers, periodic accounts, and financial statements.
• You are skilled in handling audit queries, liaising independently with auditors, and ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
• You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, enabling you to manage complex deliverables and meet deadlines effectively.
• You are a proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable professional who drives process improvements, maintains high-quality standards, delivers exceptional results, and continuously develops your knowledge and skills.
