We are looking for an Underground Network & Communications Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Underground Network and Communication Supervisor, the successful candidate will be at the heart of supporting the network and communications systems that are vital to our underground and surface operations.

• Perform maintenance and repair on underground and surface network and communications equipment, including fiber optic networks, wireless systems, Cisco switches, radios, and radio controls.

• Install and troubleshoot complex underground network and communications systems.

• Assist in developing and executing projects that support both short- and long-term mine plans.

• Work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment with a focus on safety, communication, and efficiency.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong knowledge of network and communications repair, installation, and troubleshooting of complex underground systems required.

• Formal education in networking and/or communications preferred.

• Proven safety record and commitment to working within a team environment required.

• Eagerness to learn and apply new skills for repairing and maintaining mining equipment. required
