Truck Detail Specialist

The Truck Detail Specialist performs safe, effective cleaning and detailing of Neat Companies’ trucks and trailers to maintain vehicle cleanliness and the company’s professional image. The position supports service center housekeeping, forklift material handling, and basic equipment maintenance, including battery exchanges. This position offers an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles and develop toward a career in diesel or related vehicle maintenance fields.

The work schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Duties:

• Operate a mobile pressure washer to power wash trucks and trailers safely and effectively.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors, including windshields, to maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Empty trash in the shop and outside dumpsters.
• Support service center housekeeping by helping maintain clean work areas.
• Operate a forklift safely to load and unload materials.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks, including exchanging batteries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license required
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and equipment, including a mobile pressure washer and forklift.
• Primarily outdoor work with occasional indoor tasks.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.
