PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA

We're recruiting experienced Certified Nursing Assistants for a 2nd-shift travel opportunity at a Pennsylvania state-operated veterans' long-term care facility in Pittsburgh.
YOUR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT
Gross Weekly Pay: $1,115
Taxable Hourly Pay: $11.00/hour
Taxable Weekly Wages: $440/week
Weekly Travel Stipend: $675/week, subject to eligibility
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Tentative Start Date: November 5, 2026
YOUR SHIFT
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Meal Break: 30-minute unpaid lunch
ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT
This Commonwealth of Pennsylvania opportunity supports veterans receiving long-term nursing care at a state-operated veterans' center in Pittsburgh.
You'll work alongside licensed nursing professionals and the healthcare team to provide compassionate, respectful care while supporting resident safety, comfort, dignity, and daily needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
• Support meals, hydration, mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Follow individualized care plans and established nursing procedures.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow infection-prevention, safety, and facility procedures.
• Work collaboratively with licensed nurses and other members of the healthcare team.
TRAVEL ELIGIBILITY
This opportunity offers a travel compensation package. Your permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment facility to meet Heartline Staffing's travel-distance policy. Tax-free stipend eligibility is separately subject to applicable IRS and tax-home requirements.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
• Active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification REQUIRED
• Experience providing direct resident care in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or comparable healthcare setting REQUIRED
• Ability to safely perform CNA duties and follow individualized resident care plans REQUIRED
• Ability to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, hydration, mobility, transfers, and positioning REQUIRED
• Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff REQUIRED
• Ability to complete required clinical documentation REQUIRED
• Availability for 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM REQUIRED
• Ability to work 40 guaranteed hours per week REQUIRED
• Ability to commit to the 26-week assignment REQUIRED
• Ability to complete applicable facility credentialing and onboarding requirements REQUIRED
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Previous long-term care experience
• Previous skilled nursing experience
• Experience caring for older adults
• Experience caring for veterans
TRAVEL ELIGIBILITY
Candidate's permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the Pittsburgh assignment facility to meet Heartline Staffing's travel-distance policy.
Tax-free stipend eligibility is separately subject to applicable IRS and tax-home requirements. Meeting the 50-mile distance requirement alone does not guarantee tax-free stipend eligibility.
