About the role
Description
PURPOSE:
The Testing Room Operator is responsible for performing electrical, mechanical, and functional testing on completed transformers to verify compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, company quality standards, and applicable industry requirements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring only fully compliant products are released for shipment by accurately conducting tests, documenting results, identifying nonconformances, and maintaining a safe and organized testing environment.
DUTIES:
- Support the execution of electrical tests according to international standards (IEC 60076, IEEE C57.12) and customer specifications.
- Prepare transformers for testing.
- Assemble circuits and testing equipment.
- Collaborate with various production departments (finishing, quality control, shipping).
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical diploma (electrical engineering technician).
- Flexibility regarding the scheduling of transformer testing (e.g., afternoon overtime).
- Previous experience in a similar role within the electromechanical sector is a plus
