About the role
Are you detail-oriented, organised and confident working with creditors, reconciliations and financial transactions?
We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer: Creditors to join our Finance team in Paarl on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced finance environment and takes pride in accuracy, meeting deadlines and keeping accounts in order.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier and intercompany invoices accurately and timeously
- Managing creditors age analysis and monthly supplier reconciliations
- Preparing and processing weekly creditor payment batches
- Capturing cash-book transactions and completing bank reconciliations
- Resolving supplier queries and account discrepancies
- Processing purchase orders, journals and account allocations
- Reconciling intercompany accounts and grower loan accounts
- Reconciling credit card accounts and related transactions
- Ensuring supplier documentation and financial records are complete and accurate
- Supporting month-end creditors processes and reporting
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 / Matric
- A relevant Finance or Accounting diploma/degree
- Minimum 2 years' relevant finance/creditors experience
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with NetSuite would be advantageous
- Strong reconciliation and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational ability
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines
