2. Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
• MBA would be an added advantage.
• Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management would be preferred.

3. Experience & Industry Background

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience working with an OEM or multinational organization is preferred.
• Exposure to EPC companies would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience working in a project-based environment is essential.
• Should be comfortable adapting to changing requirements and priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% as required.

4. Key Skills & Technical Competencies

The candidate should possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Material & Fabrication Costing: Understanding of materials, fabrication costing, and cost estimation methodologies.
• Cost Analysis: Experience in zero-based costing, cost-sheet preparation, analysis, and validation.
• Strategic Sourcing: Experience in floating RFQs, evaluating supplier quotations, and preparing cost comparisons.
• Commercial Negotiations: Strong negotiation skills to drive cost optimization and achieve favourable commercial terms.
• Contract Management: Experience in contract management, reviewing commercial terms and conditions, and drafting contract clauses.
• ERP Systems: Practical working experience in an ERP environment, preferably SAP or Oracle.

7. Travel Requirements

The role requires approximately 30–40% travel, depending on business and project requirements.
