• To ensure the safe storage, handling, care, and use of chemicals to protect themselves and colleagues from incorrect or dangerous usage.
• To ensure the correct use of required personal protective equipment, including gloves, boots, goggles, masks, and hats.
• To empty and clean waste bins and designated areas according to the schedule and whenever necessary.
• To ensure that exit areas are kept free of obstacles at all times.
• To ensure that all dishwashing areas and equipment are kept clean at all times and to liaise with Engineering for maintenance requirements.
• To play an active role in supporting the hotel's energy conservation and environmental policies and practices.
• To ensure that all surfaces, areas, and operating equipment within the Kitchen Department are cleaned and maintained in accordance with the hotel's hygiene standards.
• To perform any other related duties as requested.
