Heidtman Tubular Productions is growing, and we’re looking for experienced steel processing professionals to join our 3rd shift team.

Competitive Pay + Production Incentives and Shift premiums
Slitter Operator starting wage $23.77/hr.
Slitter Crew starting wage $21.54/hr.
Material Handlers starting wage $20.51/hr.
- Bi-Weekly Production Incentive
- 3rd Shift Premium: +$1.00/hr.

We’re Looking for People Who Know Slitting
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with:
- Slitter line operation
- Slitter setups and changeovers
- Steel processing
- Coil handling and material movement
- Operating overhead cranes
- Forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Reading production specifications and following quality requirements
- Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced steel processing environment
If you’ve been part of a slitter crew before, you already understand the importance of precision, teamwork, quality, and keeping the line running. That experience is valuable here.
Requirements
You should be computer-literate to maintain the associated production documents. Experience driving a forklift, overhead crane, material handler, and steel handler experience is desired. This is a physically demanding job which requires standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and the ability to move up to 50 lbs.
Prior experience in machine operation and/or steel manufacturing experience is preferred for Slitter Opportunities
