- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, network segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, NAT, DNS, and load-balancing solutions.
- Support hybrid connectivity between cloud environments, data centers, partners, service providers, and external networks.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex network incidents, troubleshooting connectivity, routing, latency, packet loss, and performance issues.
- Design network solutions with resilience, redundancy, scalability, security, and disaster recovery requirements in mind.
- Implement network infrastructure and configuration through automation and Infrastructure as Code, reducing manual operational activities.
- Build and improve network monitoring, observability, alerting, and capacity management.
- Collaborate with Security, Cloud, SRE, Architecture, application teams, vendors, and telecommunications providers on network designs and implementations.
- Support network changes, maintenance activities, incident response, problem management, and root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, network diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical production environments.
