- Metrics & Quality Tracking: Track and summarize key program metrics (such as response times and unanswered messages) and share updates with volunteer leaders and the Spanish Discipleship Manager for review and follow-up.
- Volunteer Communications & Resources: Prepare and distribute volunteer resources and communications—including blog posts, newsletters, and WhatsApp messages—using established messaging and review processes to inform and encourage volunteers.
- Event & Meeting Logistics: Coordinate volunteer meeting logistics, including scheduling, sending reminders, maintaining registration, preparing agendas with manager and leader input, and distributing follow-up items.
- Community Building: Support initiatives to cultivate a strong sense of community, spiritual connection, and encouragement among online volunteers.
- Leadership Development Support: Share observations about potential volunteer leaders with the manager and assist in coordinating their development activities.
- Process Improvement: Document recurring operational questions and process issues, suggest workflow improvements for manager review, and assist with implementing approved updates to program policies and procedures.
- Task & Technical Coordination: Organize assigned tasks, track deadlines, manage competing priorities, and log, triage, and route technical support tickets using established severity and priority criteria.
EXPERTISE
- Volunteer Program Coordination: Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating large-scale online volunteer networks and administrative workflows.
- Bilingual Communication: Native or professional-level fluency in both Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Digital Tools & Platforms: Proficiency with online communication tools, email marketing software, AI tools, and messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp).
- Technical Support & Help Desk Practices: Familiarity with logging, triaging, and routing technical support tickets; experience with call center or help desk best practices is a plus.
- Visual Communication & Content Creation: Experience using graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Express, or Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging volunteer communications.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Relational & Community-Minded: Passionate about building and supporting a positive, collaborative, and encouraging volunteer community in a virtual setting.
- Effective Communication: Clear, articulate, and encouraging communication skills for providing routine volunteer guidance, explaining policies, and preparing group announcements.
- Organization & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and task coordination skills with proven attention to detail and the ability to track deadlines across multiple activities.
- Problem Solving & Triage: Ability to address routine operational issues using established procedures and escalate complex matters appropriately.
