We’re proud to be recognized by Great Place to Work as one of the Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production for seven consecutive years, as well as by Mployer Advisor for our Top U.S. Benefits. This recognition comes directly from employee feedback, not marketing, and reflects a workplace where people feel trusted, supported, and empowered. We live our core values every day in a collaborative, high-performance environment that balances complex technical work with real camaraderie, accessible leadership, and traditions that bring teams together.
About the Internship
Are you a creative, digitally savvy student who enjoys turning ideas into content people want to see and share? Join Enovation Controls as a Social Media Intern and help bring our technology, people, and work to life across our social channels. You’ll contribute ideas, create engaging content, support social media campaigns, and learn how digital storytelling helps build brand awareness and connect with customers.
This is a paid, full-time, onsite internship based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, running from May 24 through August 6.
What You’ll Work On
- Help plan, create, schedule, and publish social media content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, as appropriate for each audience.
- Develop engaging copy, graphics, short-form videos, photos, and other content that reflects the Enovation Controls and Balboa Water Group brand and voice.
- Collaborate with Marketing and other teams to identify stories, product highlights, employee spotlights, events, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Research social media trends, platform updates, competitor activity, and audience interests to recommend fresh content ideas.
- Assist with maintaining the social media content calendar and coordinating content approvals and deadlines.
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement; help track performance metrics and summarize insights to inform future content.
- Support marketing campaigns, events, and other projects as needed, bringing curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to take ownership of assigned work.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, journalism, graphic design, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in social media, digital content, storytelling, and emerging online trends.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with an eye for detail and an understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences.
- Creativity and resourcefulness, with the confidence to suggest ideas and try new approaches.
- A self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset: able to work independently, take initiative, and make progress when the path forward is not fully defined.
- Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with others, respond constructively to feedback, and adapt as priorities change.
- Basic familiarity with social media publishing tools and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is helpful; video editing skills are a plus.
