Skilled Labourer

LTL Contracting Ltd. is seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our team. As a Labourer, you will assist with a variety of tasks on construction sites to help ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Rotation & Travel Details:

• Rotation: Depending on Job but in town as well as out of town 
• Accommodations provided when out of town

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and preparing construction sites by clearing obstacles, assembling materials, and organizing equipment
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and other construction equipment as directed
• Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and waste
• Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
• Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, masons, and equipment operators
• Follow site safety protocols and ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner

 

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work well within a team and follow direction
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
