Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Four 10-hour shifts, including applicable meal breaks)

Job Summary

Center for Neurosciences (CNS) is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and professional Full-Time Shuttle Driver to transport employees between designated offsite parking locations and our River Road medical facility in Tucson, Arizona.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to passenger safety, excellent customer service skills, and a proven record of safe driving. This position plays an important role in ensuring employees arrive at their workplace safely and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely transport CNS employees between designated offsite parking areas and the River Road medical facility.

• Follow assigned shuttle routes, pickup schedules, and all applicable traffic laws.

• Greet passengers professionally and assist with boarding and exiting the shuttle as needed.

• Monitor and respond to employee pickup requests using a cellphone while safely parked.

• Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns.

• Maintain shuttle cleanliness and ensure the vehicle is ready for daily operations.

• Refuel the shuttle as needed and maintain fuel receipts for reconciliation.

• Monitor employee compliance with CNS parking procedures and report concerns to the supervisor.

• Communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, and other CNS personnel.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Full-Time | Monday–Thursday

Hours: 5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Candidates must be available to work the assigned early-morning schedule and maintain reliable attendance.

Work Environment

This position involves operating a shuttle vehicle, transporting employees, and working in outdoor parking areas under varying weather and traffic conditions. The Shuttle Driver must follow all CNS safety procedures and parking policies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of professional shuttle driving experience.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle safety procedures.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and routine upkeep within the scope of training.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use a cellphone to receive and track pickup requests safely.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable background checks and pre-employment requirements.
