Service Technician - Fire Sprinkler Systems

FSS Technologies is seeking a Senior Sprinkler/Suppression Technician to handle complex installations and inspections, solve tough technical problems, and mentor apprentices and associates. Position Overview

The Senior Technician – Sprinkler/Suppression Technician is an important member of the FSS Technologies team, contributing to our mission to protect lives and property through industry-leading life safety and electronic security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead inspections, repairs, and complex installations of sprinkler systems.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Train and mentor apprentices and associates on technical tasks.
• Interface with inspectors, general contractors, and customers on project details.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required but are not necessarily all-inclusive.

Education & Experience

• 4–6 years of sprinkler technician experience.
• NICET Level II or higher strongly preferred.
• Proven expertise in system layouts, troubleshooting, and compliance.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
