About the role
As the Senior Vice President of Global Solution Advisory at WalkMe, an SAP Company, you will lead our worldwide Solution Advisory organization, encompassing Presales, Demo Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and serving as the primary technical partner to Global Sales.
Operating at the intersection of WalkMe and the wider SAP ecosystem, you will lead through executive presence, matrixed collaboration, and ecosystem influence. You will align GTM strategy with SAP Market Units, Global Strategic Service Partners (GSSPs/GSIs), and Product Engineering. You will partner with Customer Success for ongoing customer adoption and renewals.
What You'll Own
-
Global Technical Leadership: Drive the scale and strategic vision of a global advisory organization, instilling operational rigor, continuous talent development, and uncompromising technical standards across all regions.
-
SAP Ecosystem & GTM Convergence: Act as the executive presales liaison to SAP leadership. Deeply embed WalkMe's value proposition into SAP’s primary growth motions (RISE with SAP, S/4HANA migrations, Clean Core strategy, and Business Technology Platform/Joule AI architectures).
-
Presales Center of Excellence & Operations: Establish a centralized Presales CoE to standardize demo engineering, POC governance, RFP automation, and the use of internal AI productivity tools. Oversee headcount modeling, SA-to-AE ratios, and resource allocation across global theaters.
-
Executive Deal Sponsorship: Serve as the executive technical sponsor on top-tier global deals, building peer-to-peer relationships with customer CIOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Architecture Boards.
-
Presales-to-Delivery Handshake: Enforce rigorous technical qualification and Architectural Solution Design (ASD) standards, ensuring technical scoping seamlessly bridges into Professional Services, SAP Customer Success, and long-term value realization.
-
Product & Engineering Closed-Loop Governance: Formalize field feedback channels to provide Product Management and Engineering with structured, data-backed intelligence on enterprise customer requirements, competitor movements, and platform integration gaps.
What You Need to Succeed
-
Experience: 10+ years of enterprise software presales experience, including 8+ years leading multi-tiered, global presales organizations at scale.
-
Ecosystem Command: Demonstrated mastery navigating and influencing within large, matrixed enterprise software ecosystems (direct SAP ecosystem or hyperscaler partner experience preferred).
-
Architectural Fluency: Strong architectural command of enterprise cloud software, application lifecycle management, modern integration architectures, and enterprise AI frameworks.
-
Operational & Methodological Rigor: Deep familiarity with structured enterprise sales and presales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Technical Win, Value Engineering frameworks). Ability to drive operational change at scale, with a focus on AI productivity.
-
Executive Presence: Proven ability to command the room with C-suite executives (CIO/CTO/CDO) and effectively advocate for the business at the board/executive committee level.
-
People-First Leadership: A track record of developing senior leaders, recruiting top-tier diverse technical talent, and maintaining high team retention.
