Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the Senior QA Engineer is responsible for quality across Esko’s graphic software, used by packaging and print professionals worldwide. As the dedicated QA engineer in a small Scrum team, you will shape how quality is built in as the team moves into cloud development, and help introduce modern automation and AI-driven testing practices. This is a hybrid role based in our Prague office (Smíchov): four days a week on-site during onboarding, then three days in the office and two from home.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Designing and executing test plans across cloud front-end and back-end services, server-side processing, and a graphic desktop editor on Windows and Mac.
• Testing new features in-sprint as an active Scrum team member: validating user stories and acceptance criteria, exploring new functionality, and creating new tests.
• Helping select and implement UI test automation (such as Selenium or Playwright), then growing automated coverage release by release.
• Maintaining regression suites in TestLink and managing test cases, defects, and execution reports in Jira, with traceability from requirements to results.
• Using AI tools to speed up test design, generate scenarios from requirements, and accelerate root-cause analysis.
• Analyzing and triaging customer-reported issues, and working with engineers to drive them to resolution.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including testing web or cloud applications, desktop applications, or server-side systems.
• Hands-on experience with UI test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or an equivalent framework, plus scripting skills in Python, Java, or a similar language.
• Experience testing software across both Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with in-sprint testing in Agile/Scrum teams, including the use of AI-powered tools for test design, scenario generation, or defect analysis.
• Fluent English.
