About the role
About the company
Our client is a technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and extend backend services and interfaces, working across the product on automation, matching and scale challenges. The position includes ownership of platform architecture and input into technical direction alongside senior leadership.
What you'll do
- Apply AI agents across the product to automate operational steps and decide how the team builds with AI-assisted tooling.
- Architect and lead core systems, including real-time matching and automated vetting pipelines.
- Own platform architecture with an eye toward needs a year or two ahead.
- Drive backend performance, reliability and scalability.
- Partner with the CTO on key architectural decisions and help build the platform the company runs on.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Prior ownership of product features at high-growth companies, with results that can be measured.
- Strong product sense and an understanding of user problems and business impact across teams.
- Strong backend skills in Python or TypeScript/Node.js, including building service interfaces, database schemas and asynchronous messaging.
- Hands-on builder who uses coding agents daily and can turn an ambiguous problem into a working prototype quickly.
- Experience building zero-to-one agentic AI products at fast-growing companies with strong engineering teams.
- Comfortable shipping and leading projects at scale with high velocity, ambiguity and cross-functional friction.
- Computer Science or other technical degree from a top-ranked university.
- A clear, specific reason for wanting to work in staffing and operations-heavy customer settings.
Bonus points
- Breadth of experience across agentic and applied AI, matching or recommendation systems, marketplaces, multi-sided platforms, recruiting, or serving non-technical users in traditional industries.
