About the role
We’re growing, and our Procurement team is growing with us.
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team in a newly created role designed to support the continued growth and evolution of our procurement function. This is a great opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who enjoys being hands-on, working across multiple areas of the business, and helping build scalable processes.
In this role, you’ll source goods and services across direct, indirect, and travel categories, manage supplier relationships, identify savings opportunities, support procurement reporting and analytics, and help teams get the most out of our procurement systems. You’ll also play a key role in the implementation of our Travel Management System and partner closely with Inventory Control and other teams across the organization.
Because of the breadth of the role, you’ll gain valuable exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, ERP systems, inventory, travel, analytics, and process improvement while helping build a procurement function that can support a rapidly growing organization.
What You’ll Do
Sourcing & Supplier Management
Source goods and services across direct, indirect, and travel categories.
Manage assigned supplier relationships, including supplier performance and contract renewals.
Negotiate supplier quotes, pricing, and contract renewals within established guidelines.
Identify potential supply risks and partner with the team to develop mitigation plans.
Serve as a trusted resource to internal teams on sourcing practices, supplier engagement, and negotiation strategies.
Systems & Procurement Operations
Help lead the operational workstreams associated with implementation of our Travel Management System.
Support employees using the NetSuite procurement module through training, guidance, and office hours.
Develop and maintain procurement documentation, tools, and standardized templates.
Partner across the organization to improve procurement practices and processes.
Inventory & Supply Chain Support
Partner with Inventory Control to support timely and accurate inventory receipts.
Provide procurement insights into reorder points, safety stock, supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, and cost considerations.
Help connect procurement and inventory activities to improve visibility and decision-making.
Reporting & Analytics
Build and maintain recurring spend reports using NetSuite and purchase order data.
Analyze spend by category, supplier, department, and location to identify consolidation opportunities, pricing variances, off-contract spend, and supplier concentration.
Track and validate procurement savings, including cost reductions and cost avoidance.
Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, pricing compliance, and order accuracy.
Identify data-quality issues and partner with data owners to improve coding, categorization, and purchase order accuracy.
Turn procurement data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field, or at least 8 years of relevant procurement and supply chain experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience participating in an ERP implementation or major module rollout, including activities such as user acceptance testing, data migration or cleanup, training, configuration input, or go-live support.
Working knowledge of ERP procurement workflows, including requisitions, purchase order approvals, vendor records, and receiving.
Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier pricing, quotes, and contract renewals with measurable results.
Experience supporting procurement across multiple locations or business units.
Working knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and ERP inventory functionality.
Experience developing spend reports and translating data into actionable sourcing recommendations.
Understanding of procurement savings methodologies, including the difference between hard savings and cost avoidance.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, nested formulas, data cleaning, and modeling.
Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional partnership skills.
Ability to travel approximately 20% to 30%.
Even Better If You Have
Experience with NetSuite ERP or another comparable ERP platform.
Professional certifications through ASCM, CSCMP, or ISM.
Experience working with perpetual inventory systems.
Why Join Us?
This is more than a traditional purchasing role. You’ll have an opportunity to help shape how procurement operates as the organization continues to grow.
You’ll work across categories, systems, suppliers, inventory, and analytics, giving you broad exposure to the procurement and supply chain function while building skills that can support your continued career growth.
If you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, finding savings, improving processes, building supplier partnerships, and using data to make better business decisions, we’d love to hear from you.
