About the role
We’re looking for an experienced flooring sales professional who’s ready to lead. Beyond managing your own clients from showroom to installation, you’ll coach our newer salespeople and help shape the products we carry in our showroom.
What you’ll do
- Coach and train new members of the sales team
- Help research and select products for our showroom
- Guide customers through flooring choices, explaining features, benefits, and warranties
- Meet with clients in the showroom and at job sites
- Coordinate measures and estimates, and write proposals and sales orders
- Partner with our admin and accounting teams on work orders, scheduling, and payment collection
- Own each project from sale through installation and follow-up
- Build lasting client relationships and meet or exceed sales goals
- Stay current on our full product line and industry trends
Requirements
What you bring
- 5+ years of sales experience in flooring, interiors, or a related industry
- Experience training or mentoring other salespeople
- Deep knowledge of flooring products and installation methods
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans]
- Experience with Microsoft Office and RFMS or similar software
- A strong eye for color and design
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
