Role and Responsibilities | The Fairfax County Department of Information technology (DIT) is looking for an Enterprise Architect to support the Chief Architect while he leads the County through large-scale infrastructure transitions and cloud modernization. In this role, you’ll be the connective tissue between DIT, agencies, and technical teams, spending a lot of time listening, facilitating workshops, and turning complex needs into clear technical architecture and delivery plans. Serve as the primary architectural liaison for major technology initiatives and assessments underway. Serve as a Technical discovery & systems architect responsible for mapping, documenting, and baselining current-state enterprise IT architecture across on-premises data centers and hybrid-cloud environments.
