About the role
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Ecommerce Manager to join Hårklinikken as we continue to develop and grow our global ecommerce business.
Hårklinikken helps clients achieve optimal scalp health and long-lasting hair gain. Our mission is simple: to help people feel good and confident in who they are. Every treatment starts with a consultation, either virtually or in one of our clinics. Online, the journey starts on our six Shopify sites, where you will shape the experience that turns a visit into a treatment.
We operate six Shopify sites across the US, UK, EU, Denmark, Iceland and the UAE, with the US representing our largest growth market. You will join a small ecommerce team in Copenhagen, where the Global Director of Ecommerce owns acquisition and strategy, the CRM & Lifecycle Manager owns the customer lifecycle, and you own the sites.
You will drive the day-to-day trading and performance of our ecommerce sites, using data to identify opportunities, improve conversion and continuously optimise the online customer journey.
Success in this role means delivering against the sales plan across our six ecommerce sites and continuously improving conversion rate, AOV and revenue across sites and markets.
At the same time, you will ensure our sites are fast, stable and easy to use, creating a smooth experience for clients whether they are shopping, booking a consultation or taking the first step in their Hårklinikken treatment journey.
Primary Relationships
You will report to the Global Director of Ecommerce and work closely with the CRM & Lifecycle Manager as part of our ecommerce team in Copenhagen.
You will also collaborate closely with Brand, our clinics and Operations, particularly around merchandising, launches and the customer journey.
Externally, you will work closely with our web agency, technology team and relevant ecommerce partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Trading across six sites. Own the sales plan for each site, with campaigns and offers adapted to each market, and contribute to ecommerce forecasts throughout the year.
- Merchandising and launches. Determine what we feature and where to drive effective cross-sell and upsell. Coordinate online product launches with Brand, clinics and Operations, while keeping stock availability and our delivery promise on track.
- The CRO roadmap. Identify where we lose clients, develop and run tests, and roll out what works.
- The ecommerce backlog. Set priorities together with the Global Director of Ecommerce, brief our web agency and technology team, and manage incoming website requests, including knowing when to say no.
- The first step of the customer journey. Own and optimise the consultation booking flow, sign-ups, onsite offers and first purchase, in close collaboration with the CRM & Lifecycle Manager.
- E-tailers, SEO and GEO. Manage the day-to-day activities and relationships with relevant external partners.
Core Competencies
This role requires strong ecommerce experience combined with a hands-on, structured and analytical approach. You are comfortable owning your numbers, identifying problems through data and translating insights into clear priorities and actions.
You enjoy taking ownership and making decisions. You are comfortable saying no to the wrong request when necessary and can clearly explain the reasoning behind your priorities.
You don’t need to tick every box to be the right fit. We would love to hear from you if you bring strong ecommerce experience, a commercial mindset and a genuine drive to continuously improve the customer experience.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, with full ownership of a webshop’s trading and conversion.
- Deep Shopify experience, ideally Shopify Plus across multiple storefronts or markets.
- Experience with subscriptions in ecommerce, ideally Recharge.
- A strong CRO track record, with experience running tests and demonstrating their impact without compromising the brand.
- Strong GA4 and Shopify analytics capabilities, with the ability to identify problems and opportunities through data before looking for a solution.
- Experience leading agencies and developers through a roadmap and backlog.
- Fluent English.
- A structured approach, strong ownership of your numbers and the confidence to prioritise and say no when needed.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Hands-on Amazon experience, ideally Seller Central in the US.
- Experience working with the US market.
- Experience working with a premium brand within beauty, wellness, fashion or lifestyle.
- Proficiency in a Scandinavian language.
