Build relationships. Grow brands. Create experiences people actually remember.
We’re looking for a Senior Director, Client Services to lead a portfolio of some of our most important national and global client relationships within Marks’ Brand Experience practice.
Think Group Account Director meets business leader. You’ll be the person clients trust with the big stuff: understanding their business, spotting what’s next, bringing the right ideas and people together, and turning great work into long-term growth.
Our world spans experiential marketing, retail and branded environments, campaign and omnichannel content, and connected brand experiences. We’re looking for someone who knows retail and experiential especially well, but thinks bigger than any one channel.
What you’ll do
- Lead the room. Be a trusted senior partner to clients, from business challenges and growth conversations to the moments when things get complicated.
- Grow the business. Know your clients deeply, identify opportunities and connect their needs to the full range of what Marks can do.
- Build impeccable creative partnerships. Develop trusted, highly collaborative relationships with Creative, Strategy, Production and Project Management, creating the conditions for teams to do their best work together.
- Bring great work to life. Lead integrated experiences across experiential, retail, branded environments, campaigns and content, ensuring the idea stays strong from strategy and concept through production and execution.
- Own the business. Lead the growth, financial health, forecasting and profitability of your portfolio.
- Build great teams. Coach and develop client leaders, create a strong team culture and put people in positions to do their best work.
- Raise the bar. Challenge “the way we’ve always done it,” share what works and continually make the work and the way we deliver it better.
You might be our unicorn if…
- You’ve spent 10+ years growing up on the agency side, with significant experience leading complex client relationships.
- Experiential marketing is genuinely in your DNA. You understand what it takes to turn an idea into something people can actually experience.
- You can connect experiential with retail, environmental design, campaigns, content and integrated marketing, rather than treating them as separate worlds.
- You know extraordinary client work starts with extraordinary internal partnerships, and you have a track record of building strong, trusted relationships with Creative and Production teams.
- You’ve led major national or global brands and can move easily from an executive client conversation to working alongside the team solving the problem.
- You have real commercial instincts. Growth, margin, scope and profitability are part of how you think, not someone else’s job.
- You’re an excellent people leader who knows leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about building a team that can find them.
- You’re curious, collaborative, direct and low-ego. You want to build something, not just inherit something.
Why Marks?
Because Brand Experience is something we’re actively building and growing.
This is a chance to help shape what comes next, deepen relationships with major brands, bring more of our capabilities together and create experiences that connect brands and people in the moments that matter.
If you’ve built your career creating great experiences, great partnerships and great teams and building brands, we’d love to meet you.
