Description
Position at JBS USA
Job Title: Sanitation Hourly
Location: Green Bay
Reporting to: Sanitation Supervisor
Hours: 2nd shift: 6pm-2am, 3rd shift: 11pm-6:30am
Hourly Wage: $22.40
Essential Job Functions:
- Cleaning and sanitizing production areas
- Following sanitation production and SOP’s
- Proper chemical handling
- Disassembly and reassembly of equipment when required.
- Maintaining cleanliness and preventing cross contaminations
- Completing sanitation documentation and checklist
- Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work in hand scrubbing and running a hose.
- Expected to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds.
- Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend and/ or crawl for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water and slippery floors.
