About the role
Residential Direct Support Professional — Flexible Coverage
Innovative Harbor is hiring Direct Support Professionals to cover shifts when regularly scheduled staff are off. You’ll support adults with disabilities in both men’s and women’s residential homes, helping with daily routines, building independence, and participating in the community.
About the schedule
- Hours and shifts vary each week based on staffing needs.
- Availability is needed for swing shifts, graveyard shifts, and/or weekends.
What you’ll do
- Assist residents with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and household routines.
- Support individual goals, choices, and community activities.
- Follow each resident’s care plan and complete required documentation.
- Communicate with managers and coworkers to provide consistent support.
- Work in both men’s and women’s homes as needed.
Who we’re looking for
- Someone dependable, patient, and comfortable adapting to different homes and routines.
- Willingness to provide respectful personal care and learn each resident’s support needs.
- Must be able to pass a BCI background check and complete required training.
- Experience supporting people with disabilities is helpful, but we welcome applicants who are ready to learn.
