About the role
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Registration Supervisor for its Business Services department in Ames. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Supervises the day-to-day operations of direct reports providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support. Monitors work queue metrics to identify and facilitate needed changes to workflows/processes within the Business Services department and/or clinical department(s). Serves as an escalation point for complex patient concerns, including de-escalation of difficult situations. Supports staff in delivering consistent, high-quality patient interactions. Monitors revenue cycle and staff productivity dashboards routinely. Performs error resolutions requiring independent judgment.
Education
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
- Associate degree in business or related field preferred
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Experience
- Minimum of two years of medical office or patient registration preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
