About the role
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Director of Nursing to join our team at our Indiana Regional Office located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Regional Director of Nursing provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for site directors of nursing and support staff throughout the state of Indiana. The Regional DON works under the direction of the Program VPO and collaborates with medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated patients.
Qualifications
- Indiana RN license
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Current CPR certification and current tuberculosis documentation
- Corrections, forensic or criminal justice experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
