About the role
Company Description
South Lakes and North Lakes
Great care starts with great people. And finding them starts with you.
Every family who chooses Home Instead is trusting us with someone they love. Behind every great care experience is a Care Professional who was chosen for their values, their compassion and their commitment.
As our Recruitment Coordinator, you’re the person who finds them.
This isn’t a role about filling vacancies. It’s about finding the people who will change someone’s life, and making them feel welcome from the very first conversation.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll own the candidate journey from first enquiry to first day, making sure every applicant gets a warm, professional and memorable Home Instead experience.
- Find and attract great candidates, proactively and creatively
- Build strong talent pipelines across South Lakes and North Lakes
- Become a familiar face in our local communities
- Make the most of every recruitment platform we use
- Keep candidates engaged and excited all the way through
- Coordinate interviews, references, Right to Work and DBS checks
- Keep recruitment records accurate and fully compliant
- Reach people who have never thought about a career in care
And we want your ideas. Spot an opportunity, try something new, and help us get better at attracting great people.
Who we’re looking for
You might come from recruitment, HR, admin, customer service or another people-focused role. Who you are matters more to us than where you’ve worked.
You are:
- Brilliantly organised and naturally thorough
- Warm, confident and brilliant with people
- Happy to pick up the phone and start a conversation
- Comfortable juggling different systems and priorities
- Creative and keen to try new approaches
- Passionate about giving every candidate a fantastic experience
You’ll also know the small details matter. Accurate references, Right to Work checks, DBS checks and records are what keep our clients safe, so this is a role for someone who takes pride in getting it right.
About Home Instead
Our mission is simple: to provide the kind of care we would want for our own loved ones, nothing less. Home Instead South Lakes and North Lakes provides relationship-led care that helps people live well in their own homes, from visiting care and companionship to dementia care, waking nights and live-in care. Our Care Professionals have the time to build real relationships, and our careers go further than the visit: funded qualifications at Level 2, 3 and 5, and clear pathways into senior and office-based roles. We’re rated Outstanding by the CQC, one of the Top 20 Homecare Providers in the North West, 10/10 on homecare.co.uk, a WorkBuzz 5-star employer and a Financial Times Top Employer 2026.
