What You'll Do

As a Receptionist / Phlebotomist, you'll be one of the first people our patients meet. You'll help create a welcoming, professional environment while ensuring patients receive efficient, compassionate care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service

• Register patients, create and update patient accounts, and verify demographic information

• Enter laboratory orders accurately into our laboratory information system

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens using proper phlebotomy techniques

• Answer telephone calls and assist patients and healthcare providers with questions and requests

• Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate specimen processing

• Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality

• Follow established safety, infection control, and laboratory procedures

• Assist with other patient service and administrative responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Phlebotomy training, certification, or relevant hands-on experience

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Commitment to patient confidentiality, professionalism, and quality care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a medical office, clinical laboratory, or healthcare setting

• Experience with patient registration, laboratory orders, or electronic health records

• Previous reception or customer service experience

Work Schedule

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

This position is based in Idaho Falls, Idaho (83404) and offers a consistent weekday schedule.
