Leads root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and Material Review Board activities, and serves as a technical voice for Quality with production, engineering, customers, and government representatives. - Leading the Corrective Action / Preventive Action system, including structured root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, fishbone, FMEA) and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Leading the Material Review Board (MRB) and nonconforming material process, including dispositions, Requests for Deviation/Waiver, and customer notification
- Planning and performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and lot acceptance testing, and preparing acceptance documentation and product certifications
- Applying statistical methods (SPC, process capability, measurement system analysis) to monitor processes and drive defect reduction
- Supporting internal, customer, and DCMA audits to ISO 9001 (and AS9100 where applicable) requirements
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing quality data and metrics for management review
- Working with production to meet delivery deadlines without compromising product quality or safety

Develops process FMEAs and control plans for new and changed processes, including energetic loading, assembly, and pack (LAP) operations.
Supports process qualification and validation, engineering change control, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
Ensures product identification, lot traceability, and lot documentation meet contract and specification requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Maintains and improves the Quality Management System to meet ISO 9001 requirements, and supports alignment with AS9100 where required by customers.
Reviews all quality requirements included on purchase orders, contracts, and flow-downs (including FAR/DFARS quality clauses), and ensures they are met.
