About the role
The Missouri Historical Society seeks a part-time Production Technician who can work in a fast-paced environment with high volume of work that requires high attention to details and strategic thinking. Production Technicians provide high-quality staging and technical support at Missouri Historical Society properties. This includes but is not limited to audio, video, lighting, and stage production.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintain and safeguard the institution's production equipment
• Deliver, set-up and breakdown equipment for presentations and events
• Operate lighting boards, audio mixers, microphones and LIVE production switchers
• Perform technical maintenance and troubleshooting
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Completed at least 2 years of vocational program, Bachelor's degree, or Associate's Degree in audio production, video production, theater studies, or related field preferred
- Knowledgeable of PC and MAC based applications and connectivity, LIVE audio and video production; audio and video editing software
- Flexible availability: Must have availability at least three weekdays per week [6am-4pm], three weekday evenings per week [4pm-11pm] and one weekend [9am-7pm] each week. Schedules vary each week based on needs
