About the role
Microsoft Office Product Group is on a mission to empower people to achieve more with Copilot in the Office suite, turning ideas, data, and insights into meaningful outcomes. We aim to make Copilot a natural partner in everyday work, helping people create compelling documents, uncover insights, and tell impactful stories. By reducing effort and unlocking creativity, we strive to help people and teams focus on what matters most and reach new levels of productivity.
This role requires a understanding of product-led growth investments and motions. This role will shape the strategy and drive cross-organization coordination to grow Copilot usage across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You will identify patterns that scale across apps to improve user success, adoption, and sustained engagement. You will align teams around shared goals, connect product plans, and drive cohesive experiences that help customers discover Copilot’s value and make it part of their everyday work.
The role also requires the ability to engage a small set of key enterprise customers in meaningful conversations about Copilot in Word in particular about their needs, workflows, and expectations. You will demonstrate Copilot’s value, address adoption barriers, and translate customer feedback into product and growth priorities. Through a forward deployed engineering model, you will partner with customers to build features that help them succeed, then turn these insights into scalable resources and programs that build confidence, deepen usage, and accelerate growth.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Manage risks, dependencies, and communication plans, and provide regular executive updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to keep stakeholders informed and accountable.
Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, product management, and business development to deliver product improvements that drive Copilot adoption and sustained usage.
Growth strategy
Feed into Copilot growth strategy by synthesizing insights from cross-app coordination and direct customer engagement, ensuring investment priorities and strategic trade-offs reflect customer needs, shared priorities, and execution dependencies across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Translate customer adoption barriers, cross-app opportunities, and competitive insights into aligned growth investments that strengthen Copilot’s differentiation and drive adoption and sustained usage across the Office productivity suite.
Use shared frameworks, dashboards, and review processes to assess performance against Copilot growth targets, connect adoption data with customer feedback and cross-app execution learnings, and refine future strategy and investment priorities.
