Physician Office Nurse FHC PRN

1. Collaborates with physicians in the development of clinical protocols/procedures for the delivery of primary patient care.

2. Maintains all certifications, licensure and continuing education requirements as mandated by the licensing board for practice as a LPN/RN.

3. Participates in the initial and ongoing assessment of the patient in collaborations with the physician.

4. After the physician initiates the plan of care, updates the chart information on each visit.

5. .  Reduces patient anxiety through calm manner and explanation of procedures to the patient.

6. Observes and responds to behavioral and physiological changes due to medications

7. Evaluates patient, patient/family knowledge of home care.

8. Maintains adequate documentation to promote quality patient care based on nursing standards.

Qualifications

1. Current Georgia RN/LPN licensure
2. BLS Certification
