About the role
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment prior to therapy sessions.
- Assist residents with exercises and mobility activities as directed by the therapists.
- Safely transfer residents to and from treatment areas.
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment spaces after each use.
- Document resident attendance and assist with maintaining accurate therapy records.
- Transport residents to and from therapy sessions as needed.
- Communicate any resident concern or changes in condition to supervising therapists or nursing staff.
- Support therapists in implementing individualized care plans to meet residents' goal.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies.
