Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is looking for a skilled and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home healthcare team in Abington, Massachusetts. Your Role in Home Health
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled physical therapy interventions in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll help patients build strength, improve mobility, and work toward greater independence through individualized care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled therapy interventions under a Physical Therapist’s direction
- Assist patients with transfers and safe mobility
- Teach patients and caregivers exercises and safety techniques
- Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation

Requirements
Need to Have:
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
- Afternoon availability

- Previous home care experience
- Monday–Friday availability
- Weekend availability
