CBI Bank & Trust is seeking a customer-focused, motivated Personal Banker to join our team. As a Personal Banker, you'll serve as a trusted financial resource for our customers by providing outstanding service, identifying banking solutions, and helping individuals and families make informed financial decisions.

What you'll do

• Build strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service during every interaction.
• Help customers select and open deposit accounts that best fit their financial needs.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional bank products and services.
• Perform account maintenance and assist with customer inquiries and account-related requests.
• Process consumer loan applications, gather supporting documentation, and assist with loan closings.
• Conduct proactive outreach to existing and prospective customers to deepen relationships and grow business.
• Partner with Mortgage Lending, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, and other business lines to connect customers with specialized financial solutions.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with safe deposit box services and other branch operations as needed.
• Support branch sales and service goals through relationship building and customer engagement.
• Maintain compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous banking, retail sales, financial services, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for helping customers and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Consumer lending experience and knowledge of banking products and services preferred.
