About the role
We're looking for a Performance Analyst to join our Fulfilment team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong analytical or data background who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems and turning data into meaningful business insight.
Whether you're a recent graduate or at the early stages of your analytical career, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills while gaining exposure across Sales, Operations and Finance. You'll help improve operational reporting, support commercial pricing for new clients and use data to identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
You'll work closely with our fulfilment data lead, with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop as your knowledge and responsibilities grow.
What You'll Do
Support the development, management and continuous improvement of reporting across our Fulfilment operation
Analyse warehouse, operational and financial data to provide clear, actionable business insight
Work with Sales to support pricing for prospective clients, helping model expected volumes, productivity, costs and profitability
Support commercial analysis for new client opportunities, including large prospects moving through the sales pipeline
Build and maintain commercial models and help the business understand cost-per-unit (CPU) assumptions
Work with Operations and Finance to monitor CPU performance, investigate variances and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs
Build and maintain dashboards and regular performance reporting covering productivity, SLAs, costs, margin and client performance
Carry out analysis into areas including warehouse productivity, capacity, client profitability and operational performance
Support forecasting and modelling using historical fulfilment data
Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Operations and Finance to understand requirements and turn data into meaningful insight
What We're Looking For
A strong analytical mindset and confidence working with numbers and data
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data
A degree or relevant background in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related discipline would be beneficial
Previous analytical experience would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in people early in their career with the right analytical skills and potential
SQL knowledge would be advantageous
Experience or exposure to Power BI and Databricks would be beneficial
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
Confidence communicating your findings and explaining what the data means to different stakeholders
Good organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple pieces of work at once
A proactive approach and genuine willingness to learn and develop
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, or the desire to build these skills as your career develops
Please note that we’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK without requiring current or future sponsorship.
What We Offer
A fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in data, analytics and commercial decision-making
Training and development to help you grow your analytical and stakeholder management skills
Exposure to Sales, Finance and Operations, giving you a broad understanding of how data drives commercial and operational decisions
The opportunity to work on high-profile new client opportunities and help shape how Fulfilment reporting develops
A varied role where you'll see the impact your analysis has on pricing, profitability, productivity and operational performance
A supportive environment where you'll be given increasing responsibility as your knowledge and confidence develop
