About the role
At Small Steps, therapy is more than a service - it’s a collaborative, creative, and deeply human experience. We are a multidisciplinary team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and feeding specialists united by one purpose: helping children and families thrive through compassionate, individualized care.
We are excited to offer a unique cross-blend role which will provide speech language pathology services across both our outpatient clinics and ABA programs. This model creates meaningful collaboration across disciplines while supporting children in a variety of therapeutic environments. Rather than working in silos, our clinicians partner closely to develop cohesive, functional, and family-centered treatment plans that honor each child's strengths, interests, and goals.
Our approach is built on mentorship, collaboration, and the belief that every clinician brings unique expertise to the team. We are committed to a neurodiversity-affirming, child-led, and play-based philosophy, recognizing that children learn best when they feel safe, respected, and engaged. By working alongside behavior analysts and other therapy disciplines, our speech language pathologists have the opportunity to advocate for sensory-informed, regulation-focused, and strengths-based practices that enhance participation and quality of life across settings.
We believe the best outcomes happen when professionals learn from one another. This hybrid position provides a rewarding opportunity to bridge outpatient and ABA services, foster interdisciplinary problem-solving, and help shape an integrated model of care where every child's voice, autonomy, and individuality are respected. If you're passionate about collaboration, lifelong learning, and providing affirming, evidence-informed care, you'll find a supportive team that values your perspective and empowers you to make a meaningful impact every day.
