Creative Dining Services is currently looking for a Part -Time General Food Service Worker at the Wolverine Worldwide location in Rockford, MI. The General Food Service Worker performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving food and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments.

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday; 6am-2pm. Mondays are On Call/as needed. Fridays off!

Wage: 18.00 per hour

Core Responsibilities of the General Food Service Worker:

• Sets up food service, kitchen, or salad area facilities, equipment and utensils, under detailed instruction, in accordance with specific area needs; checks food temperatures and/or prepares areas for daily operations; may operate cooking or bakery equipment as assigned.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of hot and cold meals, and coffee beverages.
• Serves food items to customers from counters and/or steam tables, in accordance with specific instructions, ensuring that appropriate portions are served. As needed, replenishes foods, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays at serving stations; may order and replenish condiments.
• Assist in set up and preparing for catering events within the building.
• May clean and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, dishes, utensils, and equipment; collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers; as appropriate to the area of operation.
• Assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Some experience in food service/food prep preferred
• Basic reading and math skills
• Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
