Job Description
Permanent Full-Time | 38 Hours Per Week | Dedicated Leadership & Administration Time
Ready to take the next step in your leadership career and make a lasting impact on a thriving OSHC service?
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Outside School Hours Care Service Manager to lead our well-established OSHClub service in the Baldivis area.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OSHC or Early Childhood leader who enjoys developing people, driving service excellence and creating inclusive, high-quality experiences for children.
You'll be leading a large, established team, working alongside an existing Coordinator and supported by your Regional Manager and our wider JAG network.
If you're a confident, people-focused leader who thrives in a busy environment and loves seeing both children and educators grow, we'd love to hear from you!
A little about your new service
You'll be joining a busy, well-established OSHClub service in the Baldivis area, where you'll play an important role in shaping the service's ongoing success.
With an existing Coordinator and a dedicated team of Educators, you'll have the opportunity to focus on what great leadership is all about: supporting your people, strengthening service quality and creating an environment where every child feels safe, included and valued.
We're looking for someone who brings a positive, inclusive and collaborative approach to leadership. Experience supporting children with additional needs and guiding teams in inclusive practices will be particularly valued.
You'll also have regular support from your Regional Manager, along with access to our centralised support teams, training and resources to help you succeed.
What does the role look like?
This is a permanent full-time position offering 38 hours per week, including:
- A minimum of 5.5 hours of in-ratio time each week, keeping you connected to the children, families and Educators who make your service special.
- Dedicated leadership and administration time to focus on supporting your team, overseeing service operations, driving quality improvement and progressing service priorities, balanced with the operational needs of the service.
- Monday to Friday availability across both before and after school care periods, with flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the service.
As Service Manager, you'll take ownership of the overall leadership, performance and quality of your service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing your team: Coach, mentor and empower your Coordinator and Educators to deliver their best.
- Driving service excellence: Oversee engaging educational programs, inclusive practices and continuous quality improvement.
- Championing child safety and compliance: Act as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor, ensuring your service meets the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
- Building meaningful relationships: Develop strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
- Overseeing service operations: Manage budgets, rostering, enrolments, workforce planning and operational performance.
- Supporting quality outcomes: Lead Assessment & Rating preparation and embed high-quality practices across your service.
Most importantly, you'll help create a positive, supportive team culture where people feel valued, confident and inspired to grow.
Why join our team?
- Dedicated Leadership Time: Benefit from allocated time for administration and leadership responsibilities, supporting you to develop your team, drive service improvements and oversee the day-to-day operations of your service.
- An Established Team: Step into a well-established service with an existing Coordinator, allowing you to focus on mentoring, developing and supporting your team.
- Supportive Leadership: You'll have regular coaching, guidance and practical support from your Regional Manager, along with access to our centralised support teams.
- Career Growth & Development: Access paid leadership training, professional development and opportunities to continue growing your career within JAG.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy consistent full-time hours with a structured working week and dedicated time for your leadership responsibilities.
- Family-Friendly Benefits: Enjoy 10 weeks of paid parental leave and up to 50% off childcare fees.
- Wellbeing & Lifestyle Perks: Save on gym memberships, health insurance and everyday shopping through our employee benefits.
- Referral Rewards: Earn cash rewards for successful employee referrals and help us grow our amazing team.
