Phonetics and Phonology: This course discusses how speech can be written down, how speech is produced, its acoustic characteristics, and how listeners perceive speech. Learners become well versed in transcription, production, acoustics, and perception.

What You Will Do
- Facilitate online classroom instruction and discussions
- Engage students in achieving course learning outcomes
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Incorporate current industry knowledge and best practices into teaching
- Support the mission and values of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology OR
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology with 18 graduate credits in audiology/hearing coursework
- AND 2 or more years of professional experience using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous professional experience teaching communication sciences and disorders at the postsecondary level
